Mental Health First Aid course
Did you know: 1 in 4 adults will experience mental health problems in any one year.
In this two day course you will learn to recognise early signs of mental health problems and respond appropriately to assist people in your community, family or workplace. You will gain practical skills to offer initial support to someone experiencing and mental health problem, while keeping yourself safe. You will also be provided with local service information so that you can feel confident assisting someone to get the right support.
This course is FREE to anyone who lives, works, studies or volunteers in Islington or Camden.
Who are the trainers?
Rethink Mental Illness has a team of experienced trainers who deliver both MHFA programmes in Islington and Camden.
What else do I need to know?
The 12-hour training programme is run over two days, unless otherwise stated programmes will start at 9.30am and finish at 5pm.
Delegates will receive a certificate and course materials upon successful completion of the course.
