It is our belief that collaboration must take place across sections of the community for a positive social impact. Our board of trustees bring knowledge and experience from broad sections of the community and help us to steer our work in a way that best serves local people. By working continuously with volunteers we are able to deliver services that satisfy the needs of local people, drawing on local knowledge, idenities and values. As well as working in collaboration, we capture quantitative and qualitative data in feedback forms, discussion groups, impact evaluation reports and surveys to discover what we get right and how we can grow our successes.
We offer work experience and interning opportunities for graduates who want to gain knowledge and skills in the non-profit sector and local governance
We are most effective at engaging with our community through our volunteering programme, which enables local people and workers to discover value and purpose in the place where they work and live. We now offer work experience and training opportunities for interns and graduates who want to gain knowledge and skills in the non-profit sector and local governance. In 25 years we have grown from a council regeneration project into an multipurpose community charity, and have gained considerable expertise in tailoring projects and services for the local community.
